Saved’s second release for 2013 comes from label debutant Julien Chaptal who presents the 2 track “Illin EP”

Fist up on the A side is “Eat Ya Foe”, a track which is built on unique percussion that  possesses a warm bit crush effect. These foundations support the bouncing bassline which has an acid feel to it that works well against the potent vocals.

Further damage is caused on the flip with “Illin” where the rolling drums build  nicely into the engaging lead line that advances through the track with filters and variations.

Saved welcomes Hector for the 2nd release of 2012. The Mexican artist presents his debut release for the label called “L.A KR3W” Possessing a disco infused groove, the track advances with drops layered with rocketing white noise and oscillating effects.

Over on the B side detroit legend stacey pullen serves up and amazing remix. Containing a grooving bass line and some of the original parts the record progresses with intelligent chords and trippy atmospheric layers.
